NO student can test for Chun Kuk Do Black Belt without being in their 3rd year of CKD membership.
Belt Testing is held approximately every 8 weeks. There is a fee for each belt test. No student will be allowed to test if he or she has been disrespectful at home, in school or in karate classes! MAKE UP TESTS COST AN ADDITIONAL $25 FOR ALL STUDENTS AND MUST BE SCHEDULED WITH THE INSTRUCTOR.
We train only to protect ourselves, not to start fights. Any student who fights outside of class for any reason other than self-defense will be held back from his or her next belt test.
Any student who breaks a rule or misbehaving in class will receive the punishment deemed necessary. Examples may include: push-ups, sit-ups, jumping jacks, laps, stepping lunges, time out, etc. If the behavior problems continue, the student can be bowed out of class and even stripped of his/her rank if the instructor deems it necessary.
No students are allowed to be outside the dojo without a supervising parent or approved adult.
Spectators are asked to be as quiet as possible during the workout so as not to distract the students.
